It was here the Johannesburg Kolping Family decided to build a Kindergarten for the children in distress. After years of wrangling with various departments, which bore no fruit, we abandoned this project and instead got permission to break down an old shack which served as a kindergarten. The ground belongs to the Johannesburg Diocese.

Here, with the help of the Kolping-Bildungswerk Augsburg, a new Kindergarten came into existence, and the result speaks for itself.

The Kindergarten accommodates, at present, 65 children from the ages of 1½ to 6 years.
